CommonGround Coronavirus Update


COVID-19 Mitigation Requirements

CommonGround Golf Course has diligently been working to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and align the operations of the golf course to mirror the recommendations of public health orders that have been issued.  First and foremost, we are dedicated to protecting the health and safety of both the public and CommonGround staff.  In order to remain open, we will are requiring all customers to adhere to and respect the following rules and safeguards that have been put in place to protect everyone.

If you are feeling sick, you must stay away until you are healthy. 

Following your round, please be aware that socializing is allowed in accordance with the CDPHE's active Safer at Home guidelines for restaurants:  https://covid19.colorado.gov/safer-at-home/restaurants-food-services

Facial Coverings MUST be worn in the clubhouse when interacting with staff or other patrons.

Use of Credit/Debit cards is highly encouraged, although cash transactions will be allowed if needed.

        Management suggests that you pay for your green fee online or over the phone if you are uncomfortable entering the clubhouse.

        Customers will be required to swipe their own credit cards for any transactions.

Food & Beverage is OPEN in accordance with the CDPHE's current Guidelines for Restaurants.  Seating is available on the deck or under the tent.  The Beverage Cart will be available from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on the tee boxes of  Holes #6 and #13.  

Social Distancing guidelines MUST be adhered to on all CommonGround property.

         NO handshakes and high fives.

         Maintain a minimum of 6’ social distancing everywhere.

Golf Carts: 2 players may share a cart in accordance with the established policy:  CLICK HERE

         Do not pick up or use other players’ balls, bags, tees or clubs.

Customers must limit their time in the building and not congregate as groups before or after their round in order to help ensure social distancing. 

Practice facilities:

        The Practice Putting Green and the Community Putting Green are open with strict social distancing.

         The Par 3 Course is open, but you MUST make a tee time to play the course by calling the Golf Shop.

        The Driving Range is OPEN!

        The Chipping Green is open.  You must use no more than 6 of your own golf balls and pick them up when you are finished.

Restrooms are being cleaned and disinfected regularly.

Water jugs on the golf course have been removed so bring your own water.

Flagsticks will remain on the course, but CommonGround asks that players do not touch the flagsticks whenever possible. 

Bring your own hand sanitizer when playing at CommonGround.

Patrons that cannot adhere to or respect the guidelines will be asked to leave the CommonGround property IMMEDIATELY.  If you have been asked to leave the property, your future playing privileges with us will be suspended. 

The ONLY way the golf course will remain open is by adhering to and respecting all of the safety requirements that have been implemented.  CommonGround staff will be strictly enforcing the safety guidelines.  Your cooperation is ESSENTIAL.

Why "CommonGround?"

The name "CommonGround" was chosen not simply to name a golf course, but to declare a mission:
"To provide everyone in the state with a first-class environment in which to comfortably learn, enjoy and support this amazing game and all that it offers."
Designed by world-renowned golf course architect, Tom Doak, the facility includes a world-class 18-hole championship golf course, a short course devoted to Junior Golf development, a full-service practice facility, and a caddie program.
