Clubhouse Renovation

After being in operation for more than 13 years, we are excited to announce that CommonGround’s clubhouse is getting a much-needed renovation! Construction for the renovation project is slated to begin in mid-April, with the golf shop making preparations to move into a temporary facility around April 1. The project is expected to take six months to complete.

What will be available during this time period?

Golf Shop - The Golf Shop will be housed in a temporary facility just west of the current golf cart staging area. It will be fully functional with merchandise available for purchase. There will also be a restroom facility adjacent to the temporary Golf Shop that will be similar to those used for large events.

Food and Beverage – CommonGround will continue to provide food and beverage options at a limited capacity. Grab-and-Go items (i.e. hotdogs/brats and sandwiches) alongside a limited selection of canned beer, alcoholic drinks and bottled beverage options will be available. The beverage cart will operate as usual.

Event/Function Tent - The event tent will be onsite in its usual location. It will be available for daily seating and event functions as it is every year.

Event Catering - Due to limited capacity in our temporary facility to prepare food for large groups, we will not be providing catering services for events until the renovation project is complete. If catering is needed, we have a list of recommended catering vendors that we will provide upon request.

Driving Range and Practice Facilities - The driving range and practice facilities will continue to be available for use and are not anticipated to be impacted by the project.

What to expect when the renovation project is complete?

  • A completely redone front counter with increased visibility.
  • Additional space for merchandise retail.
  • A refinished bar.
  • Additional offices and storage areas for staff.
  • More functional operations space for food and beverage.
  • An additional family restroom.
  • An improved look and feel to the interior and exterior of the overall building structure.
  • Additional and improved landscaping around the building.
