Junior Group Programs

At CommonGround Golf Course, we have a joint mission with the Colorado Golf Association to grow the game of golf. Through a variety of programs, we hope to get juniors excited about the game of golf and all it has to offer. We strive to create an environment where juniors can learn the rules, skills, and etiquette of golf through fun activities that allow them to interact with other children of their age and ability.

We are truly invested in helping juniors grow in the game of golf and in life.

We hope that you will consider us when it comes to helping your junior grow their interest and passion of golf.
Any junior, no matter their experience level, is welcome to come learn at CommonGround Golf Course. We have kids clubs of all sizes that will be available during the junior camps.

Squirt Club (Ages 4-6)

A series of golf lessons for children ages 4-6 years old to begin understanding and loving the game of golf. We highly encourage parents to attend the clinics with the juniors. The little squirts will learn the basics of the swing, the driver, chipping and putting, and a few fun golf games to show off their new skills! Nothing is better than sparking an interest in your child and seeing them love what you love.

Welcome to the Fall Players Club at CommonGround GC. This fall we will joining forces
again to bring you weekly competitions on our par 3 golf course. We will be using relaxed PGA
Junior League rules through the fall program. 6 will be our max score on any given hole.
Players will have the option to compete in 2 different formats.

For more experienced players we will have a stroke play competition (Players will play
and score their own ball). For younger and less experienced players we will have a 2 person
scramble stroke play (player and teammate will both hit a shot and chose the best one through
the hole to produce a team score).

For individual stroke play we are looking for kids who can shoot below 40 on the par 3
course. If you average a 5 or 6 on most of the par 3 holes on your own ball we would prefer
you play with a partner to work on improving your game. Those who do not have a friend to
play with, Coach Rynk, Scott, and I can help you get with another player to compete.
Through the course of the Fall program, we will keep track of players stats. We will have
a series of awards for lowest stroke average, lowest round, most pars, most birdies, and
possibly a few others.

To sign up please click here, or on the link below. Each week will be a separate registration and
our deadline every week will be the Thursday prior to each Saturday tournament. Friday
afternoon, we will email out all the tee times. Cost is $30 per player, per tournament. Practices
are optional and will be $25 per player paid to the coach running the practice. Individual
stroke play participants will start at 3pm first tee time. 2 person scramble teams will follow.
